I made this tart thing and my roommates and kiddo devoured it. I wanted to make another, but didn’t have any more puff pastry.

What I did have was this really cool pickling kit I got from MasonTops (not an affiliate link, I just really like them) and some mason jars, so I started a jar of fermented pickled asparagus!

The “pickle pipes” are a cool silicone airlock top for mason jar fermentation, but you can use any airlock style top for this recipe. Do not use a standard mason jar lid - the pressure release is essential for fermentation or your jar could explode and I’m pretty sure that is bad.
